April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Each year during April, we pause as a nation to reflect on issues surrounding child abuse; on how we respond to the needs of the victims and their families; on how we can make our communities and our families safer.

Each year in April, CCAN names its’ “Voice For All Children Award” recipients to acknowledge the work of child victim services professionals and volunteers to our cause. Also during the month, CCAN staff visits communities and sponsors various public education sessions on keeping our children and communities safe.
