Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

The MDT involved with the operation of the Child Advocacy Center of Nassau County includes representatives from law enforcement (police and district attorneys’ office), health (medical center and mental health), social services, child protective services, the county attorney and from CCAN. The team reviews cases and makes recommendations, working together collaboratively to ensure that the needs of a specific case are being addressed appropriately.
